Almost immediately upon listening to the dialogue and watching the bad acting I wanted to leave. This ridiculous far fetched movie drags out country folk tropes 'torturing trespassers and thieves was too painful & predictably not shocking. Why? Because Hollywood is predictable and not shocking any longer.
I'm sitting there, 1/2 hr into the thing when I asked myself, why?
Where's the substance?
Flimsy plot.
Bad writing.
Journalistic ethics?
A far left propaganda narrative. A farcright propaganda narrative? (Both?)
How was the military not following rules of engagement?
How can TEXAS & CALIFORNIA be together?
Nothing in this movie can become real.
Oh, and reviewers have copied and pasted the same review over and over.
Pure SCIENCE FICTION, but without a BLOB, FRANKENSTEIN, or SPACE CREATURE.
