Apple people probably find this hilarious. But in reality it's about as funny as drowning. The story is so bad I wonder why they bothered even having one, why not just watch 8 unfunny, bad acting characters running from one side of a planet to the other for no reason apart from to get into danger so they can act scared and wave guns around (but obviously not know how to use them - get it, hilarious ! They are just so amusing ! Not.)
The plot is the only interesting thing about it, just like 90% of the shows on Apple. You can see why they get made, it's because the pitch is a good concept. It's just the execution and fleshing out of the story and characters that always fails. Look at Time Bandits and Shrinking, exactly the same problem, great ideas but just terrible TV. Such a shame this fails, as the production quality is very good. I didnt know it was possible to mess up Scifi so badly, even B movie sci-fi is still worth watching, but not this, this is utter drivel for 5 year olds.
Whilst watching this I actually felt I was (for the first time in years) really enjoying watching a movie. It's baffling to me how literrally hundreds of films are released each year, and 99% of them are terrible. This film actually restored my faith in movies. Watch it you will not be disappointed if you like films that are loving crafted, exciting, tense and contain a relevant modern message message for the world.
The film follows a US civil war, not surew if the president won't leave the white house and they are at war to get him out, or whether its political Red vs Blue/North vs South. Whatever it is the US is on the verge of this type of mess, I hope it doesn't happen.

This season continues the move away from the sci-fi themed story telling. Now it's all about how many stars they can sicophantically attach to an episode, or counter balance with a contrived unknown. The stories are just awful, dull, lifeless, almost sporadic in their dullness. It started a few seasons ago, with the famous mullet child "singer" and a story about a doll (?), and it's continued descending down, until quite literally it has managed to attract a devil from the lowest pits of hell. Death and Robots has cruised past this roadwreck, and it wouldn't have wrecked if they had just left it as it was at season 3. But they obviously just wanted to suck more cash out of its bloated puffy face, and let's face it, use it as a chance to meet their favorite celebs. This show is now like a pompous art exhibition, with talentles "celebs" drifting around, waiting for their own episode, and no doubt being told repeatedly about how amazing they are, and how amazing this episode will be blah blah blah. In reality each season of this has mirrored Charlie Brookers writing talent, and now they are both, just all so passe.
