Just saw a YouTube review on this and HAD to watch the whole thing. I'm not sure I've had so much fun with a film made in the last 10 years as I have with this one.
It's clear that all the actors are having fun with it too. There are a few familiar faces from Hill's previous movies (a bit like how Adam Sandler always casts his group of friends) and they all do a great job.
My favourite scene has to be the support group. I couldn't stop laughing. I can't go into too much detail without giving stuff away but I promise, if you watch this, you won't be disappointed.
Get on it as soon as you can!

I can't believe people are acting as if this movie is intended to be a cinematic masterpiece. It isn't. It's meant to be a bit of fun and that's exactly what it is.
I've seen Nathan Hill interviewed by YouTuber Jay Harabgue who slates this movie (and all his others) right in front of him. Nathan Hill laughs along and joins in with the jokes. There is no way this movies is meant to be any more than a feature length joke. Look at some of the actors in it. My gran could do better. As if the producers weren't fully aware of what they are producing.
It seems like people have either completely missed the mark or there's some sort of petty agenda.

The irony of the opening scene where Galadriel spent time crafting a perfect boat, only for someone to destroy in with one throw of a stone isn't lost on me.
Why spend all this money on a TV show only to have a totally unlikable main character? She's just an absolute ****!
The visuals are great and you can see where some of the money has gone. However - it's SO boring and because I'm not invested in any of the characters, I switched off. It's NOT like Game of Thrones where it's slow but engaging - it's just slow.
I'm sure the cast and producers will make up some other reason why people don't like it to save face (like they seem to do for all failures these days) but sorry, it's just bad.
