A respectable try at a horror film. We don't know a lot about Dracula's journey to Landon, therefore I appreciate the plot. I was a little disappointed because I had anticipated the filmmaker of "Autopsy of Jane Doe" to have much more horror experience. The Autopsy of Jane Doe does a great job of generating fear without ever revealing a ghost or any ominous faces. The fear will be lost if a ghost's face or body is shown. We need to experience the terror without actually seeing it, and the autopsy of Jane Doe succeeded in doing just that by generating a spooky atmosphere without displaying any ominous ghost faces. In all honesty, as soon as I saw Dracula's visage, I lost interest. After that, the film just continued like a typical horror film.

Poor VFX since it feels more like a staged drama than a maritime voyage.

The characters do well.

The ambient music is acceptable. Might add to the drama.

However, it's not a pointless movie. It ought to be watchable in a theatre.
