Well technically on IMDb it is only the 90 Sexiest Women Alive since I couldn't find  Stefanie Knight, Amberleigh West, Hayley Baylee, Amy Leigh Andrews, Celeste Bright, Brook Amelia Wright, Tahlia Paris, and Tawny Jordan even though when I googled them their IMDb pages popped up, but they are on my Ranker list where you can vote.

Thus far on my 2018 100 Sexiest Women Alive 14 people have voted, so far Rebecca Ferguson is being voted the Sexiest Woman Alive with +9 votes to just -0 votes. Updated 3/1/19: Well so far 56 people have voted with over 3 thousand votes being cast, and the current leader of the 2019 100 Sexiest Women Alive Voting Poll is the beautiful English actress Lily James with +28 votes to -13 Votes followed by Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, Stella Maxwell, and Selena Gomez.  There is still plenty of time to vote.

Updated 4/11/19: Two months into the voting and over 100 people have voted with over five thousand votes being cast.  The current leader of the 2019 100 Sexiest Women Alive Voting Poll is the gorgeous supermodel and actress Kate Upton with 69 up votes to 20 down votes.  There is still plenty of time to vote.

Updated 12/16/19:  Well it certainly has been a long time since I last updated this list.  I just lost track of time, and busy with other stuff.  The voting was completed back in July and the 2019 Sexiest Women Alive was Kate Upton with 120 positive votes to 71 down votes, which is a 62.8%.  Kate was followed closely by Scarlett Johansson in a close second with Blake Lively, Jennifer Lawrence, and Emily Ratajkowski in a descent 3rd, 4th, and 5th place.

The top 3 of Sicario, The Revenant, and The Assassin are far above and beyond the best films of the year, and none of the other films come close to reaching.  

Films that aren't on this list that that some would place on this list are Inside Out, Concussion, The Walk, The Danish Girl, Carol, and Trainwreck.

I originally had 153 potential women for my list of the Sexiest Women Alive in 2015, but I had to narrow it down to just 100.  In doing so things changed as I have a new sexiest women alive, along with new faces to my to my list like Nina Agdal, Rosie Jones, 	Jessica Lucas, and Jade Bryce among others.  The top 25 was easy, but creating my 2015 list got harder as I went.

All right here are in what in my opinion are the best current shows on television right now.  What does current mean? It means shows that were on television at least as far back as 2014-2015 and have already aired a new season or will air a new season in 2015-2016, and they have to be scripted shows with no bad reality shows.  

Also I don't watch a ton of television so there are a lot of shows I haven't seen or just check out on or two episodes and then dropped the show as it wasn't worth my time, but feel free to ask me about a show not on this list.

I will talk about my feelings on some of the shows, but no all of them.

 The 2014 list of the 100 Sexiest Women Alive is now officially in.  In the top 25 not a whole lot has changed, except the rankings.  Outside of the top 25 a whole lot has changed with a ton of new gorgeous women added to the list that are different from the 2013 list that includes the likes of Natalie Portman, Bar Paly, Dania Ramirez, Kaley Cuoco, Ashley Benson, Alessandra Ambrosio, and many more.

This list has changed a lot from last year yet many faces remained the same.  Kat Upton is still number 1 though not as a rock solid hold.  I was going to add Miley Cyrus on the lower part of the list, but she destroyed her chances with her ugly haircut.  You'll also see lots of Playboy models.

In 2014 I made a vow to avoid paying to see any film in the theater that I thought was going to be or had a chance to be bad to horrible. I managed to keep that vow skipping Non-Stop, 3 Days to Kill, Need for Speed, Divergent, Transformers: Age of Extinction, The Expendables 3, Dracula Untold among many others. I did managed to see all the films I mentioned outside of Dracula Untold, but I got to see them for free. Out of all the mediocre to terrible films there were five that stood out above the rest of the garbage I watched this year and here they are.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and new years. I spend part of my holiday seeing Unbroken, and I was certainly not impressed with Angelina Jolie's film, and completing my Official list of the 15 Best Films of 2014. I still haven't seen films like The Theory of Everything, BIg Hero 6, Foxcatcher, The Boxtrolls, The Drop, St. Vincent, and The Wild, and to be honest I don't think any of the above films would make my cut for the best films of 2014 outside of maybe The Theory of Everything or The Wild. I did consider expanding my list to 20 films, but I didn't want to delude or take anything away form the great films on my list. As for Clint Eastwood's American Sniper and Inherent Vice I consider them 2015 films since their studios only released them in 2014 because they wanted the films to be considered for the Academy Awards and won't get a wide release until 2015. All right let's move on to what I consider the best films of the year.

Honorable Mentions go to Mockingjay Part 1, Godzilla, and The Maze Runner.

The 1970’s was quiet the decade. The decade gave us the first summer blockbuster season, the first true disaster films like Earthquake, The Poseidon Adventure, and The Towering Inferno as well as introducing the world to Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Bruce Lee (Though he was originally know for his role on Green Hornet.), the Alien franchise, and of course introduced us to the Godfather. 

My best films of the 1970’s took me long time. In my first list I had over sixty films on the list, but some how narrowed it down to 25. I also couldn’t pick a true number 1. Unlike the 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s, and 1960’s there are no real one, two or even ten films that truly stand above the rest. That’s why even though I have Alien as my number one it’s only number one because I had to put something there, and The Godfather Part II, The Conversation, Papillon, Jaws, or The Invasion of the Body Snatchers could have been number one. Hell I even considered putting Monty Python and The Holy Grail as my best film of the 1970’s. Once you I got by the top 10 to 12 films there is a drop off from excellent to classic films to really good to great films. Now with all that in mind here is my 25 Best Films of the 1970’s.

Well here is my list of the top 25 films of the 1960’s. I have seen a ton of films from the 1960’s from cheesy horror films to classics, and had originally picked 51 films for consideration for my list, but decided to narrow it down to the top 25. The 1960’s was the decade of Sergio Leone, and the rise to super stardom for Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen, and Paul Newman as well as three of the best, and most influential science fiction/horror films in 2001: A Space Odyssey, Planet of the Apes, and Night of the Living Dead. 

The top 15 were easy to chose, and everyone should agree with their inclusion, but the last 10 were much harder to figure out, and I’m sure some will definitely disagree with the choices I have made. Well any way here are my Top 25 Films of the 1960’s.

Here is my list of the best films of the 1950’s. The films I have watched from the 1950’s went up exponentially compared to that of the films of the 1920’s, 1930’s, and 1940’s. I had seen so many films that I had 33 films I considered for this list, but decided to narrow my list down to the best of the best making it the twenty best film. The 1950’s was the decade of my favorite director of all time in Akira Kurosawa, and Alfred Hitchcock who have a total of seven films on this list.

Like the 1920’s and 1930’s I haven’t seen a ton of films in the 1940’s, but the amount of films I have seen have gone up from a few dozen to around a hundred or so.

Out of those hundred or so films I narrowed them down to about the top 13 films. In all honesty in my opinion the 1940’s wasn’t a great decade for cinema, but it is understandable as World War II was going on. As far as this list goes, it was hard to choose a number one film as there were no truly spectacular films that stood for me like in the 1930’s in All Quiet on the Western Front, but there were a lot of really good if not great films like Casablanca, Citizen Kane, The Devil and Daniel Webster and Red River, so here are what is in my opinion the 10 best films of the 1940’s.

I’ve seen thousands of films in my now 35 years of life, but sadly I haven’t seen a lot of films from the 1920’s or 1930’s. I’ve only seen about a half a dozen or so from the 1920’s and maybe two dozen or so from the 1930’s like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Gone with the Wind, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Still I wanted to make a list of the top 10 to 15 films of each decade, but for the 1930’s with my limited number of films seen I am only going to go with the top 5 films, and here are my top 5 films of the 1930’s.

While Akira Kurosawa isn't perfect as the debacle with Tora! Tora! Tora! displays Kurosawa is still the best director of all time to date.

1. Seven Samurai: The greatest film of all time and one of the most influential films of all time. See my review for more.

2. Yojimbo: Again an original story co-written by Kurosawa as a wandering samurai plays two warring clans against each other. Again Yojimbo is a very influential film with one of the biggest examples being Clint Eastwoods A Fist Full of Dollars.

3. Hidden Fortress: Without this film there truly might not have been a Star Wars or the film Lucas has given us might not be recognizable to us.

4. Rashomon: The film follows for different perspective of the same event. It is brilliant written story with a unique vision which I believe was original and had never been done before in film. Again Rashomon has influenced many a writer and director. You can sense a theme here and see how great a director Kurosawa was by how influential his films were.

5. Ikiru: Admittedly I had overlooked this little known or overlooked Kurosawa film most likely because it didn't involve samurai, and I did not actually watch it till a couple of years ago. The film has no samurai or great battles and certainly not the influence on film making that Kurosawa's other films have had and I think that is what has kept if from being number 2 or even number 1 on this list. Ikiru follows Kanji Watanabe a simple bureaucratic who lives a simple and boring life until he learns that he has stomach cancer cancer. The journey of Watanabe is beautifully written and acted, and the ending as he sits on the swing is so sad yet satisfying and fitting. If any of you are a fan of Kurosawa or just looking for a great film than don't miss out on Ikiru which is perhaps Kurosawa's most moving film.

6. Ran: Akira Kurosawa last great film based on Shakespeare's story King Lear. Admittenly I only read his story once and that was probably nearly twenty years ago while I was in high school and I don't remember liking the story or maybe I was just bored and couldn't understand old English. Still Kurosawa puts his own mark to the story and makes it his own.

7. Throne of Blood: The second film of Kurosawa that was influenced by Shakespeare in his play Macbeth. Not a lot is changed from the original play, but it is nice to see it in a Japanese setting.

8. Red Beard or the Japanese name Akahige: I remember finding this film on Amazon a few years ago. I was looking for a Blu-Ray copy of Ikiru and typed in Kurosawa's name and found this gem in the search. Again Red Beard is like Ikiru as it is a simple film with no grand battles or vastness in scope. It just follows two men in Dr. Noboru Yasumoto and Dr. Kyojō Niide. The film takes place during the early 19th century. Dr. Yasumoto is an arrogant and ambitious who wants to work for the Tokugawa shogunate and the film focuses on his journey throughout the film. Red Beard isn't as compelling as Ikiru, but is still a great film.

9. High and Low: The film centers on Kingo Gondo, a wealthy executive of a shoe company who dreams and is planning of taking the company over, but is stopped when he gets a phone call from a stranger who says he has Gondo's son. It isn't Kurosawa's best written or most original film, but the story works and the film is really good.

10. Sanjuro: Again Kurosawa turns to the great actor Toshiro Mifune. Mifune was the director's go to actor as he starred in six of Kurosawa's films. The director and actor work well together and it shows in Sanjuro as the story follows a group of young samurai of a lord who learn of corruption and fear for their lords life and try to help their master with the help of a Ronin played by Mifune.

I just finished watching Man on Fire again, which is a really good film and decided to create a top 10 list in honor of the late director Tony Scott. Though he isn't on the level of his brother he's still was a good director who's given us some really good and fun films and worked really well with Denzel Washington who he did 4 films with. 

1. Crimson Tide: His best film as a director with a great plot and truly memorable performances by Gene Hackman and Washington. 

2. Spy Game: Of all of Tony's film Spy Game probably has the best plot along with it being one of Brad Pitt's best performances. 

3. Man on Fire: Washington's second film with Scott and this revenge film is all his as he kicks ass down in Mexico. 

4. Top Gun: What more can be said about Top Gun. It doesn't matter if it doesn't have a great plot, the memorable young characters/actors along with the fighters and great music make Top Gun a great film. 

5. Days of Thunder: A guilty pleasure of mine, and I still remember buying the toy cars at Hardee's restaurant when I was a kid. 

6. Unstoppable: Washington and Capt. Kick try to stop an out of control train. 

7. True Romance: Christian Slater, Samuel L. Jackson, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken and Gary Oldman lead this violent wild ride of a film. 

8. Enemy of the State: A film about lack of privacy and government surveillance with a bad plot, but fun thrill ride. 

9. Beverly Hills Cop 2: Ah the days when Eddie Murphy was actually funny and a decent actor. 

10. Revenge: The legendary actor Anthony Quinn stars along side Kevin Costner and Madeleine Stowe in this underrated drama.

I wanted WWI and the films about it to get more respect.  The Great War or WWI is overshadowed by WWI and The Vietnam War in Hollywood even though it was a historic time as the world came into the 20th century, so I wanted to create a list of the best WWI films.  Sadly there have only been a few made compared to WWI and Vietnam films.
