  • Well done

Talhotblond. If it wasn't real it would corny. But truth is stranger than fiction. Courtney Cox did an excellent job as director. She tells the story. And for a Lifetime movie, this is one of the best ones. I've seen this several times and it holds up each time. All of the actors can act. The cinematography is creative, the editing, and music are well done. The plot twist at the end is something else.

  • So many dead bodies, like sardines in can.

I watched The Equalizer with my brother on May 31, 2025. The 136th anniversary of the Johnstown flood. It appears more people died in this movie than the flood. And most of them were bad guys. Denzel does his best to teach the bad guys lessons despite the fact they only have seconds left to live. During the movie we took a break to eat sardines. I had Chicken of the Sea brand on crackers. He had Costco Seasons sardines on whole wheat bread. We agreed that mine would rate a 10 and his would rate an 8. Although those Costco cans are extremely difficult to open. The can would rate a 2. If you have other opinions on the movie or sardines, please let us know.

  • Very odd episode

This is such an odd episode for Eight is Enough. It really isn't an Eight is Enough episode, but more of an odd TV movie. David Bradford becomes an instant expert hang glider pilot. Just like when Fonzie became an instant expert shark jumper. Why not have Nicholas or Tom Bradford fly? Not the same plot, but this episode reminds me of Burt Lancaster in Gypsy Moths. If that movie was an episode, it would make the same sense as this.

The production and cinematography was well done. 99% was real footage. Very few scenes had fake backgrounds.

This isn't actually that bad of an episode as a stand alone show, but it just seems way too much out of left field.

As an episode of Eight is Enough, I'd give it a 3. As it is, maybe a 6. I'll compromise with 5.
