Starts great, declines slowly in season 2, steep drop in season 3, and absolute disaster in season 4.
Season 1 was great, fresh, innovative and fun - 8/9 out of 10. Season 2 doesn't bring much new, but gives us more of what we loved in season 1 and for the most part it's great. Season 3 stars to decline pretty rapidly and almost entirely removes any comedy from the once hilariously dark fun comedy. Season 3 became such a chore as it just spent entire episodes letting Barry continue to deal with this or that in the most long-winded ways possible. There are fun moments and beats scattered through season 3, but very quickly you realize the best moments / episodes / scenes are only times we're not focusing on Barry.
Then season 4 comes... and let me tell you, it makes the final season of Game of Thrones look like tr best thing that has ever existed on TV. Season 4 is not just a purely horrible season of Barry, it's some of the all time worst tv in existence. I would not wish viewing of this season on my worst enemies. It's painfully long, painfully boring, and absolutely pointless. You will find no resolution to the characters that came before. Instead, all you will find is wasted time and most likely anger for how terrible this show became, and you'll wonder was this show actually ever any good.

If you've never seen a horror movie, or a movie, or understand the difference between believable performances or some of the worst acting of all time, then maybe... just maybe you'll enjoy this. But honestly, even then, you'll still come to realize this is one of the dumbest movies made. So incredibly predictable in every single scene, you will never be surprised or spooked. And this is a horror movie, a genre which you know, relies of those two things to simply exist. Now thats not to say that the female lead and the male best friend aren't good at times (they're both much better than this film tbh), but the lead actor is one of the worst I've seen in a long time. He undoubtedly either was directly related to the director or producer, or financed part of the film, etc. There is no way anyone saw what he was doing and decided he should be the lead. Any single moment in this film where even an ounce of suspense should build his awkward and terrible performance gives you the impression we're watching a comedy. He's just so bad, even the D-level horror on display is lost in how awful he is.
Anyway, enough of that. It's probably not the worst thing you'll ever watch in your life, but if you're in the mood for horror, suspense, scares, good performances, passable story, or quality anything, I recommend going somewhere else... honestly anywhere else. Watching paint dry offers more suspense.

Discovery started good but so quickly went off the rails it became hate watching. Picard was nostalgic fun and still a quality recap I'm watching and enjoying. But it wasn't until this series that I felt they finally gave us something akin to classic Star Trek. Delightful and fun week to week and I couldn't be happier.
