I realize the pilot was a bit disjointed because it didn't have much time to set up the premise, get us to connect with Ben & Addison and to latch on to the previous series' story line. Give it time. This premise has so much sci-fi potential. I love that it isn't a complete reboot, and it builds on the previous incarnation. Kudos. I'm watching for the cameos in hopes that Scott Bacula pops up more than just in a photo. I'm interested to see how they continue to keep the project's past in the story line.
With so much negativity in the world, it's great to imagine a Ziggy out there having someone leap in and make the world better.

This episode's careful weaving of flashbacks and important nods to the original movies was practically flawless. While the conflict of the two teen groups is far from being resolved, it gave us some hope that the wisdom from revisiting past conflicts may find a way to help repair the current ones.
