Why a series set in Nantucket (a primarily Caucasian community) featuring a primarily Caucasian cast, opens with a Bollywood-style dance number in the opening credits.
Setting that issue aside, it was an entertaining mystery. It is no "Big Little Lies", but it was a decent mystery.
Admittedly, the ending was a bit anti-climactic.
Nicole Kidman continues to look amazing. Hard to believe she is 57. A lot of actresses her age try to fight aging with plastic surgery, and end up looking like they're wearing a mask..
The Nantucket scenery was the real star of the series. All those ocean-front homes.

It's a shame. Was hoping I had found something to watch now that there is no longer any more new Aurora Teagarden or Garage Sale Mysteries.
Mystery 101 and even Crossword mysteries are both better than this movie. I might try another, but do not hold out much hope.
I have to admit I am not THAT familiar with Danica's body of work, knowing her primarily from a classic episode of How I Met Your Mother (The Pineapple Incident) and the episode she appeared on of The Big Bang Theory.
She was pretty good on these two sitcom roles, but not here.
Even Danica McKellar's cuteness could not mask her substandard acting here.

The synopsis suggested she was re-kindling things with Norman, but their interactions seem more brother-sister than romantic partners.
The mystery was perfectly adequate. There's friction with the district attorney, which, of course, means they have a romantic future (even though so far, he does not seem likeable).
The whole thing with the mother becoming a private eye just seemed too ludicrous for words. She is just too ditzy.
The third sister doesn't seem to add anything to the mix. I am kind of surprised they continued with her after the previous movie.
