Not sure what the point of any of it was. It almost felt like the movie was about Lex Luther, and this comical cast of superhero got in the way of his master plan.
Not a fan of the casting for any of the characters. None of them were able to inspire or invoke the identity of the personas. They just felt shallow and lacking substance.
As for the writing and plot, it just didn't carry any weight. The whole movie I thought when will this end, and why am I watching a poorly written comic book issue.
The CGI and action sequences were pretty decent, so that portion did not seem cheap or poorly done.
Not a fan of the casting for any of the characters. None of them were able to inspire or invoke the identity of the personas. They just felt shallow and lacking substance.
As for the writing and plot, it just didn't carry any weight. The whole movie I thought when will this end, and why am I watching a poorly written comic book issue.

The hype around this movie makes no sense. There are way better movies, such as Rudderless, that touch on similar topics, where the casting and plot writing are better. What was that 4th episode? A complete waste, and utterly pointless.
Major issues: -The whole premise of a SWAT team style tackdown with such circumstantial evidence made no sense.
-The mother and sister were poorly cast into their roles, and their scripted dialogue seemed monotone and emotionless.
-That lawyer should have been disbarred for lack of guidance and intervention in key areas. At minimum, that gives grounds for dismissal or mistrial for poor representation by a state-provided attorney.
-A grown man in a trade freaks out over his van being vandalized with cheap paint, and doesn't know how to remove it?

It is astonishing that Zach Snyder and several renowned cast members would have partaken in this film. It just does not work at any level. The casting is all wrong and no one has a good fit for their acting style and pedigree. Sofia Boutella was not the correct choice for the main role, it just does not work.
The plot is not captivating and seems very boring. I could not find a care to give for the story line. It just does not make sense. Too little backstory of the main characters, and leaps of logic to develop strong bonds in forming a team.
The writing and dialog is simplistic, and lacks an epic story or fantasy journey one would expect from a Star Wars saga.
