I'm no archeologist, but the holes in the theories promoted in this awful 'documentary' series are so big you could hide a lost civilisation in them. Totally one sided and without any sort of critique of the evidence provided, it's this sort of dangerous garbage that gives credence to nut case conspiracy theorists. From vague and almost continuous digs (no pun intended) at the archeological establishment, to claims backed up by half baked evidence, this really is the worst pretend documentary I have ever seen.
I struggled to see how Netflix could fund such drivel, but after a little investigation (more than is in the show I fear) I find that his son is an exec at the company. So nepotism does have a place in the Netflix empire.

Relatively interesting examination of the long series of events leading up to the First World War, taken from a particularly Balkan point of view. It still retains balance, with no party coming out particularly well (which is probably true). What is fascinating is how many opportunities there were to avoid this slide into catastrophe, and that ultimately when the worst indeed came to the worst all the protagonists were mortified.
The 1 or 10 out of 10 reviews are complete nonsense - from an outsiders perspective this looks like a reasonably subjective view of events.
