I am thankful in that I was so bored I decided to watch a few episodes of this in a row because the first episode seemed off - it was trying too hard to be some sort of epic masterpiece like what Game of Thrones became rather than how it started. This show however gets much better and I am hoping they renew it for two more seasons as Netflix often does - maybe even more than three seasons!

I now like the characters, it took me quiet a while to like the lead actress in particular but I have one episode left in the season and am feeling upset that it is ending - for now only I hope. Give this a few episodes and if you don't like it by the end of the third episode then by all means give it up and give it a bad review but those reviewing it after one episode are dooming what is actually a good show once you engage with it.

Hoping this gets another season. The first few episodes were good but I think it gets better and better, particularly if you like beer - good beer.

When I saw Anders, with a hard An from Workaholics was in a new show with Mindy of the Mindy Project I thought I had hit the jackpot but this show is a little lost and the child actor portraying a young homosexual Indian boy (played by Josie Totah) is unloveable and comes across as far too obnoxious and too much of a know-it-all.

Anders and Mindy are good in this and the supporting cast isn't bad either (I think I love Dana - played by Ginger Gonzaga) but the kid is irritable, comes across as very obnoxious and arrogant and simply isn't loveable. I think with a more loveable, less know-it-all homosexual child this could have been a good show and allowed for a lot more humour derived from that part. I understand what they were trying to do and the subject material does give them a lot of interesting story lines that other shows wouldn't be able to do and I would love to know what others thought but I just didn't like the child at any stage even after finishing the entire first (and likely only) series.

Firstly I don't know why this has a 4/10 on here. It wasn't revolutionary in any sense of the word and being a remake of a remake does bring a lot of baggage but it was a good action movie. Maybe they didn't include as many iconic lines as you would have liked from a Charlies Angels movie and they had a female Bosley (I don't think that counts as a spoiler) which some have said is disgraceful.

Having said all this the movie was pretty good. There was a decent amount of action and perhaps most surprisingly I really liked Kristen Stewart in this movie - like really liked her. I liked all the female leads actually and Patrick Stewart was excellent as always - in fact all the bit casts were good, I even liked the Assassin by the end of the movie who at first I was very unsure about. I used to joke that the mirror in Snow White was on drugs to suggest that Kristen Stewart was the fairest of them all and that the Twilight actress couldn't act and was unattractive but she was excellent in this. She was personable and portrayed the character exactly as I thought she should have. She was cool, fun and really sexy - in fact I wasn't certain it was her until I logged on to IMDB this morning!

All said and done if you like action movies on the big screen then you will like this - I don't see how you can't! If you are looking for a Charlie's Angel movie that ticks all previous franchise boxes or don't like seeing female leads on the big screen then maybe you should pass on this.

This has to be the freshest, best comedy going at the moment. The jokes are consistent - you know when you watch an episode that it will make you laugh! Too many comedies nowadays are a little hit and miss and spend too long trying to keep up with the characters they have developed, often restricting the amount of laughs.

All the characters meld together well in a group that might not necessarily meld together too well in real life. The diversity in the views, ages and cultures of the study group allow this show to explore topics that some comedies can't. Having said that they don't really focus on those topics as much as they probably could which I think is a good thing. They are all endearing characters in their own ways which can allow them to get away with saying things that aren't politically correct and borderline offensive (thinking of Chevy Chase's character in particular).

The characters and how the cast play them make this show what it is, the cast do an amazing job and every character is played to perfection. Describing them very generally as we go around the table we have: 1. a young, extremely hot, but sexually repressed white girl; 2. an older religious black mother; 3. an old, loose mouthed prejudicial but kind hearted white man; 4. a young African American Jock; 5. a television obsessed, and analytical Indian-American man; 6. a white woman who is a humanist and feminist and holds strong views on most things, and 7. the father figure of the group, a cooler than cool middle-aged white man. The cast of teachers (in particular Ken Jeong who is great in this) and others (thinking the oldies and Star Jones) are also great and add to the feel that the show is set in a college campus and not just a studio somewhere.

The episode where they are playing paintball (I love the warriors reference too) and the episode where Jeff plays pool in his cool leather pants are two of the funniest half hour comedy episodes ever shown on TV. My only problem is that here in Australia this show isn't shown during prime time, why not?

Like most new comedies it took me an episode or two to really get into this although I did like it enough from the first episode to watch more. Like most half hour comedies as the characters develop it gets better and better but where so many new comedies seem to fall down this one doesn't. The show doesn't focus too much on character development which allows the jokes to flow freely and fools you in to developing an interest in the characters, like a good comedy should. I probably enjoy it a little more than some might because Anders, that is Ders with a 'Hard-An' reminds me of a friend of mine at work.

The show is pretty fresh and whilst the teens and twenty somethings will probably be the target audience I think older people (probably not those approaching retirement) will still be able to enjoy this show for what it is - a half hour comedy show that keeps you laughing in the genre of a twenty something/stoner comedy.
