Season 2 started a bit slower with the rebels meeting the greater band of resistance across the galaxy through fulcrum, but it was all culminating to the last episode. Absolutely mind blown with the dramatic pace of escalation!
Dave Filoni should take a bow for creating such a masterpiece with gripping cliffhangers to keep you at the edge of your seat while serving fanfare, for what was life in the galaxy after the clone wars and a glimpse on the original prequel trilogy.
This episode (including the first part) had all the action of the usual Stars Wars canon story line with masterful execution and flawless character introductions. If anyone claims to love Star Wars, they should brave the first two seasons, just to arrive at this masterpiece and be amazed to witness one of the greatest Star Wars story ever envisaged since 1977.

The time and patience one has to dedicate their life, in making a lifetime work, coupled with an unquenchable thirst to provide sheer awe and cinematic brilliance technically and emotionally, stands out at every single minute throughout the movie.
Apocalyptic genres are quite easy to enact, since they requite an astute understanding of how humans operate on baseline consciousness. George Miller did a fantastic job at delivering this exact sentiment. I am overall pleased with the aesthetic cinematic treatment compared to its predecessor for continuity and not overdoing with CG.
Dramatic pacing and character introduction is given justice with sufficient screen time to develop their story arcs and finale plot. The wasteland is merciless and spares nobody.
Flawless execution 10/10.
