As a fan of Transformers as a kid (40 years ago!), I took along my 10 year old son to watch this and we both LOVED IT!

I really found the story telling to be excellent, the voicing of the characters were on the money, the animation felt like a great blend of new and old (giving me nostalgic vibes), throw in some laugh out loud moments and this movie hits!!

The pacing of the movie was very sharp and it's nice to watch a movie these days that isn't 3 hours long, particularly if you want children to enjoy it too.

I'd imagine this will be the first instalment and as with anything that's starts off so well you really hope they do any potential sequel justice.

I hope this has faired well at the box office because it would be a shame for such a well crafted movie to go unnoticed.
