  • This is just sad to watch, what a waste

This movie is absolute garbage. I doubt even kids would like it, especially if they watched the brilliant show it was based on. M. Night Shymalan directed this and it has his pretentious finger prints all over it. The movie trys to squeeze 20 episodes of content into an hour and a half movie which is a recipe for disaster. Most of the dialogue is just characters explaining the plot and it's boring and not immersive at all. The child actors look constantly confused and the girl who plays Katara always looks like she's on the verge of tears. The effects look like they weren't even finished. Appa looks espically bad. As someone who absolutely loves the show and has watched it a couple of times, I feel this movie was a huge wasted opportunity. This could have been something great if it was longer and was made by competent people. Let's be thankful there's never going to be that sequel they actually thought was going to happen

  • The funniest Irish show ever made, period!

If you live in Ireland and haven't heard of this show I would actually be shocked. It's the funniest, most quotable and memorable comedy in Irish history! There's no bad episode of Father Ted, each episode gets laughs. No matter what you find funny there's something for everyone. Everyone in Ireland has talked about this show in great length but if you're not from Ireland the best way I can describe it is that a lot of the humour comes from the characters. Father Ted is a jerk, father Dougal's a machild and the less we say about Father Jack the better. Couldn't recommend enough. It's a must see for fans of comedy

  • Dr Seuss would be furious

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Dr Seuss rolled in his grave. I usual like Mike Myers but he was terrible in this. Most of the time he just does a stupid laugh and doesn't even look the kids in the face. The acting from the kids seems like they weren't even trying. Even the make-up is poor. The cat looks like one of those photo things in amusement parks where you stick your face through it, and don't even get me started on Thing 1 and Thing 2. It thinks it's being clever by inserting innuendos but it just comes across as desperate. The only positive thing I can say is the sets are kind of fun because of Bo Welch, who helped with a lot of Tim Burton Productions. But aside from that I have nothing. Terrible movie, stay away
