The director should have decided what he wanted to make. A historical accurate movie which could have so much impact on the Indian diaspora. Or a Bollywood special effects movie, with so many slo-mo, cut scenes, super hero landings. A one hour movie was stretched into 2.5 hours due to useless slo-mos.
The story had a huge potential, but the director let it all down.. by mixing in bollywood. I actually feel that a lot of such movies could have been amazing and world worthy, and also showcase our culture and history to the world. But not in this manner, where because of all these special effects, the story seems fake and made for masses.
Kudos to the dressing and makeup team.
Akshay khanna played a perfect Aurangzeb and makeup was apt. And Vicky Kaushal played the role to perfection, the energy was great.
