A guy gets more than he bargained for after entering into an affair with the wife of an investment banker. Soon, a suspicious death and a substantial life insurance policy embroil him in a scandal.
It starts out as cheesy adolescent and formulaic and continues down that road with a vengeance. The scenery is good and some cinematic proficiency relieves some guilt for not stopping the movie early. Nick and Kiki are not hard to look at, but the single dimension relationship portrayed is tedious at best. There is absolutely no character or plot development in sight. This movie is a candy coating with no creamy nougat inside.
