Oh how I wish that comet was coming to bring this sorry production into extinction. 😪 Never in my life have I ever thought BBC would be capable of reuniting such a strong and talented cast and give them such an abysmal, nightmarish type of material to work with. I mean, they tried to emulate the WHOLE plot of House of the Dragon, bit by bit, seriously! Except instead of 2 powerful and stubborn women it was with 2 childish dumb men, and of course no dragons! Hahaha This is so bad, so bad that I found myself cackling with laughter multiple times throughout this horrible, extremely lazy script! I don't know how tf I found the strength to watch the whole first season but I most definitely will not stick around for a second if by some miracle of God this dumpster fire of a show ever gets one.
I mean, do these hollywood execs really think we are like their characters who don't have two brain cells to rub together or what? Painfully unbelievable scenes, dull characters and lame dinos do not a successful blockbuster make! The script was so lazy that I found myself screaming at the screen several times! Like, REALLY??? How they were able to put Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali in this bomb is all the way beyond me! Either they didn't read the script or the proverbial zeros the movie incessantly speaks of were too insanely good to say no. Either way, what a let down. Do yourselves a favor, save two hours of your life and sanity in general and pass this one right up.
...it probably isn't funny. That's the general feeling this show gave me, i'm not saying the show was made to be full of jokes, or even "that" funny in general, but I think it was made to be(or actually just "feel", or I would go as far as to say only "seem") smart. But man, those endless explanations and monologues where the only character who sees what's being said is supposed to be the character who's the "best detective in the world" therefore the only one who actually could, hence all the self explanatory bs Hahaha I can't! It was too much, too in your face, and as I said, "if you have to explain it that much...", it took all the fun that a whodunit murder mystery should have. I'm giving 3 stars, one for each single laugh this show was able to get from me(thanks Sheila!). Yes, there were only 3, and there will be no stars from me for endless and pointless plots.
