I watched a few episodes of this show today, and I wasn't impressed. I mean, It's pretty sad when you have to copy your story concept from a Disney Pixar movie (The Incredibles). I honestly don't see the difference between that, and this show except that the Incredibles was much better. The characters had no chemistry with each other, it was if they were simply reading their lines without putting any emotion or feeling into them. The plot was predictable, and it wasn't interesting at all.The character of Daphne (The daughter) was whiny, dumb and unlikeable. The Mom's character was pretty boring, as well was the other family members. If you have any good taste whatsoever, don't watch this show.
The Corpse Bride is one of those films that are hard to forget, mostly because of the visuals and voice acting talents. The story centers on Victor Van Dort, who accidentally gets himself married to a dead girl named Emily . The problem is, Victor was Previously engaged to Victoria Everglot.
The story blossoms from there, as Victor tries to Convine Emily that they aren't meant to be together.
Tim Burton did an excellent job with this film. The characters are very likable and seem to come alive with the Help of actors,Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Emily Watson. The ending, though a bit sad was done beautifully and I will always remember it.
It doesn't matter who you are, this film can move you to tears, and still be a nicely scary Halloween movie.

I'll start by saying that I think Tim Burton is a genius, and maybe my Expectations for this film were a little high when I went to watch it. I'm sorry, but I just did not like this film. It was creepy and eerie, and the creatures in the opening scene disgusted me. I'm surprised that Disney would produce a film with such bizarre and horribly deformed creatures. The plot was interesting, and the characters were nicely done. But everything else was just to weird for my tastes. If your a person who enjoys a bizarre movie every now and then, watch this film. If you have have small children who are easily scared, then stay away from this movie.
I realize that this is a Halloween movie, and it was meant to be scary, but I think the directors overdid it. I will not be watching this film again.
