Now I happen to know some cast, crew, production.

But it's up there with The Wire for revealing an entire secret subculture , and for the quality of the writing. It's a real gem of a show.

It's the best elements of breaking bad, the wire, succession, love/hate (it's step-parent Irish crime series), Prime Suspect, Law & Order, Narcos, Sopranos,with a authentic quality Irish flare unlikely to be seen repeated given the shambles the nation broadcasters finances and governance has been left in by an allegedly corrupt management.

Set in Belfast, this BBC/RTE produced drama is one of the hidden gems in this golden age of television. A crime drama on a par with shows such as The Killing, The Night Of, American Crime, and the original Prime Suspect. A Met officer is seconded to the PSNI to capture an active serial killer in present-day Belfast. Jillian Anderson and Jamie Doran give outstanding performances in the lead roles, and a quality local supporting cast shine equally.

Can't recommend this show highly enough.

Not since Capturing The Friedman's has the unpredictable trajectory of 'ordinary' peoples live been laid so bare for an audience. Louis has some history with breaking virgin ground in this field. His hypnotizing Louis Theroux: Transgender Kids and The Most Hated Family in America have shone light on people and conditions that shock and thrill equally when seen. His much anticipated My Scientology Movie must be looking at a theater run to open u the real potential of Oscar shaped success and recognition for the best documentary team working anywhere today.
