Everything about this movie's plot line is implausible and I actually stumbled upon it one Sunday afternoon while flipping through my Programming Guide.
The performances are uninspired and key details are absolutely inaccurate. Tell me how someone can just become a Jockey overnight pretty to win the Kentucky Derby with a Claimer? The best part of the Film was the Closing Credits and the fact they got Dan Loiselle of Woodbine to actually call a race, in addition to Jim McKay to be a TV commentator.
There is absolutely nothing about the Horse's struggle to become a Kentucky Derby Winner, instead the Writer opts to make this a tacky Love Story with absolutely no heart.
