Fix the out of sync captioning. The captions are approximately 30 seconds ahead on multiple devices - AppleTV, Roku and FireTV. The captions are out of sync in both MGM Plus and Amazon Prime apps. Only checked English, Spanish, French and German, but in all 4 of those languages the captions are out of sync on all three devices and in both applications. Can only speak for NTSC.

I said "screenwriting" because I have not read Reid's original words, but there's some genuine genuine development for some of the supporting characters, but still somewhat lacking. The male characters, especially the brothers, in the final episodes lose any of their briefly revealed depth and become archetypes that don't mesh with earlier episodes. And its also at this point, that the screenwriting lost the challenge, giving up on wholistic human portrayals and becomes a focused women's studies seminar; kind of preachy and tiresome.
"I don't let you see all of me..."
Most thinking men of substance, something Billy was supposed to be, as far back in time as one can imagine, are/were, not so shallow as to insult their true love with such a line.

Very good show that actually benefited from quality writing and good acting. But unfortunately like all decent NBC shows of the past 10 years, it was guaranteed to be abruptly cancelled from the beginning. This was actually only one of three NBC shows that have even bothered to record so binge watching the seasons made it that much more enjoyable and easy to just cut ties when NBC dumped it because of their inability to commit is now inherent to their programming dept.
