I first heard about City Hunter well before it was to be aired. I had set it aside to watch, mainly because I'd recently become a fan of Lee Min Ho (main male lead) via his previous dramas. Unfortunately, it took me a whole year before I finally sat down and watched this truly amazing drama.
I was captured from the very first episode, where you witness the deaths of 20 Korean soldiers, betrayed by their own country. The musical score used to draw you into that whole scene is just...beautiful, and heart- breaking. It plays throughout the series, perfectly placed, perfectly timed.
I began to love each of the characters and watch them progress, some of them more than others. The relationship between Lee Yoon Sung and his father is one of the core aspects of the drama. I tell you now, if you have not seen this drama, go and watch it. You will not be disappointed. I felt that it got a solid ending that wrapped up all the loose ends in the plot, and even with the romance. It left me wanting more..in a good way XD I would totally go for a second season, if the original cast remained :p
From the astounding musical cores, the lovable characters, and engaging plot, I highly recommend this drama.

I grew up with the Lord of the Rings. My mother would read the trilogy to my brother, sister, and I every night before bed. When she read through the books, she would play the theatrical radio recordings. Those audio tapes brought life to each and every word from the books and made the characters all the more real. So, as one could imagine, when this first movie release to the trilogy was announced I was overjoyed—excited beyond belief, if that is even possible. From the soothing, and fierce, musical pieces to the breathtaking backgrounds, Peter Jackson greatly delivered with this engaging, rich, and epic depiction of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Fellowship of the Ring".
Frodo Baggins is entrusted with the One Ring, forged in the hot fires of Mordor; The One Ring of the Dark Lord Sauron, who was destroyed thousands of years ago—but not entirely. Frodo is accompanied by Sam—his gardener—and together they embark on a journey to destroy the One Ring once and for all. Throughout the story they are joined by comrades and allies of different races and, as one, endure harsh scenarios, dramatic climaxes, and unforeseen circumstances. This is a story not only about putting an end to evil but about companionship, friendship, love, loyalty, and sacrifices.
I highly recommend "The Fellowship of the Ring".
