I thought this was going to be a good laugh. I hadn't heard of Tyler Perry and will be avoiding anything else he produces after this.
It was like it wasn't scripted at all throughout and the actors' dialogues were all over the place and often totally inaudible due to the chaos of ad-libbing.
The worst thing was the Grandma's voice....it went on, and on, and on, relentlessly, even as bad as Trump's voice. I can still hear it now in my head. I don't know how I lasted until the end. Not funny at all, I never laughed once.
The story was pathetic, I don't think there were any writers, I think they just got a load of people together and said, get on with it.
I notice the Grandma has other films, how on earth does this utter rubbish get past first screening let alone on Netflix's platform.
I'm still totally bemused to be honest.

First of all I saw this in 3D and had to pay an extra fee for the ridiculous glasses. The 3D was non-existent, a selling point for no apparent reason. I thought that 3D had been fased out and so it should be.
The film is monotonous, boring, with very poor CGI and bad cinematography.
The actors over-act constantly and it is as though you can tell that they are acting all of the time, none of it feels natural.
The two leads Johansson and Jonathan bailey were painful. Jonathan bailey was very miscast and his American accent did not appear authentic or his attempts at acting in an overly animated American manner. It was just irritating.
I really couldn't have cared less by the end of this long film who survived or not.
The four characters of the family who suddenly survive everything were irritating and the acting was not great.
I really do not understand how this has got such good reviews.
I wish I had not spent 25 miserable British pounds on this utter rubbish.

This film really disturbed me, not just from the diabolical acting, terrible writing and equally as bad direction, but the use of a baby and very young child used in truly disturbing scenes, of which they would not know that it was "just pretend".
The parents of these so called "child actors" should be ashamed of themselves.
I'm amazed that in this day and age children are not safeguarded at all within such films.
The story drags on and on and you think it's never going to end.
The woman lead makes so many bad choices you end up shouting at the screen.
Typical Prime rubbish.
I would not recommend this to anyone.
