This movie was a complete conundrum? Something about the Cuckoo bird and how it uses other birds to raise its offspring? The movie is a complete bore in the beginning and turns into a complete mess at the end. Acting in it is okay, lead actress and the villain accomplish the task of keeping you engaged, but just barely. Much throwing up also that is a bit of a mystery in the scheme of things too. It also mirrors in its annoying screaming of another movie I would like to mention. Watch Vivarium, a longer version of a Black Mirror episode, but has a much more satisfying message and ending than this piece of tediousness!
Watched his Astroworld movie and was left scratching my head? But this 39 min masterpiece of set design and acting as only he can pull off in a short film form was a delight! Very few movies make me just smile with story and acting, Jack Black in Polka King comes to mind, but this short had me smiling from beginning to end! The sets are like watching an intricate puzzle being solved, so much so I had to view it several times to catch everything going on in them!
Story is quirky and engaging, and the acting of the 4 lead actors is mesmerizing to behold, the rapid fire dialogue is impressive! A must see for Wes Anderson fans, or even anybody who enjoys Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes, Benedict Cumberbatch and Dev Patel at their best!
