Great thriller and entertainment. Of course, not to be taken seriously as scientific fact. If someone doesn't like this movie because of lack of scientific certitude, they can watch science documentaries. This is mostly for entertainment only. Besides, there is probably some truth within the guesswork of how these monuments came to be. And our ancestors of long ago weren't simply ignorant cavemen, they had knowledge that scientists still do not understand. This movie also depicts the greed of some humans in their search for power. But even though there is much wickedness all about us there will always be some good men and women who still care about their fellow human beings and will pay the price with their lives if need be to save the lives of others.

This movie is not to my liking as it has way too much gore plus torture scenes. It ends well but it's not worth sitting through all the scenes of gore, violence, prolonged sex and torture hoping that it would somehow get better, which is the only reason I watched it until the end. Also there are perverts and extreme cruelty depicted. I have enough just watching the news daily so why do I have to go to this kind of entertainment to see even worse things than I already see and hear about in real life? This is not to mention the melancholic music throughout the whole movie which makes everything even more depressing.

Very realistic and tense throughout. Also great acting. It had me on ther edge of my seat the whole time. I wish they would make more movies like this. The background music was very good also making every scene dynamic. It reminds me somewhat of the movie "The Towering Inferno." Don't expect a relaxing time as you watch this movie. It's a real classic movie of the 1970's and some things can be learned from all that is happening. Not a lot has changed with peolpe's characters in the more modern times. We can all learn from the mistakes of the past if one is willing to learn, Unfortunately many people will never learn, whether they be people in everyday life or high up officials. And there will always be good people willing to risk their lives to save others.
