These are "horror" movies, or scary movies that fall out of others I have classified by genre. For example "Carrie" is considered horror but it's not a monster, psycho killer, alien, ghost, demon or any other sort of monster.

Most of these are from actual comic books, some are with a super power theme or are super hero in nature (Scott Pilgrim). "300" isn't on this list because I never read the Frank Miller original story, so for the time being "300" is in my top action flix link. This list is always under construction.

These are basically the best science fiction type movies usually containing a futuristic element. Some of these could also fall under what I consider some of the greatest movies ever but I reserved them for this list to be more specific within genres.
