  • Frankenstein from 1931 still better

Over-exaggerated acting obscures the depth in Mary Shelley's profound reflections on identity, alienation and guilt. The philosophy from the 1818-book drowns in superficial overperformance and a chase for spectacle. Visually? I've seen more interesting AI videos on Instagram. Boredom and the sense of speculation and showmanship simmer side by side in the pot. All in all, this version of a great and important story lands far below Frankenstein from 1931 and Bride of Frankenstein from 1935.

  • Slow but strong

A perfect example of films made outside Hollywood. The director has done a great job, a lot of fine acting and a very special plot, that makes you think - twice. French filmmaking is on its way back thanks to Netflix.

  • How can I trust IMDB after this?

7 ... you cant be serious ... ! What should we give the "original" Jurassic movies then? 20 ...? The first three Jurassic movies had everything, that this movie have not.
