I thoroughly enjoyed this alien invasion movie with old arcade game twist. It was entertaining, funny, and fast paced. I found the acting decent and the premise entertaining. Plus Qbert adds one extra star just himself. Especially if you were a kid in the 80s you could totally appreciate this. Not only for the arcade games and the nostalgia of our childhood. But it almost feels like a movie from the 80s. But with better quality and some awesome CGI. It's nothing serious. It's just fun and entertaining. Nothing you have to think about like the a ghost busters, or something. I think some people take them selves to seriously and think they're film critics. No, this is not an Oscar-winning film nor was it intended to be. It's fun it's cute and when you just want to be entertained, it's wonderful. Sometimes you don't feel like deep emotional movies. Sometimes you just want some plain and simple entertainment. And if that is you try this movie out, I promise you you won't regret it.

All I can say is check it out. I regret waiting this long to watch it. I haven't enjoyed a movie this much in awhile. I was a kid in the 80's and can't believe I missed this masterpiece. Some movies from back then are hard to watch because that did not age well. But this was not one of those. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this. "Send more paramedics" made me smile so much. And I loved the actor who played spider in Friday the 13th part 5. He was amazing in Friday but ten times better in this. If you're looking for a fun movie on a Friday or Saturday check this out. It's cheesy but amazing like a pizza!

I wanted to love this but it just fell flat for me. I think the last 30 minutes killed it for me. I was hoping I found another hell house llc but unfortunately it wasn't. I didn't hate it and I do recommend watching at least once. But it definitely won't make regular rotation.
