What a beautiful, poignant, and thoughtful tribute to the wonderful personage of John Candy. The level of depthness that was explored in this documentary is incredibly moving. It was great to hear from John Candy's family, friends, and costars about his whole character and life as an empathetic human being who was also tortured by his own challenges of worth, loss, and anxiety. And seeing all the clips of footage from his various work over the years was truly remarkable. This documentary is truly an extraordinary and important piece of history and a loving tribute to such a monumental and unique individual.
Ethereal, inspirational, emotional, hopeful, enlightened last interview with Jane Goodall. Such a beautiful masterful interview with the woman, the icon. She embodies spirituality and magic with her presence, her experiences, and her stories. Jane's message to all of us at the end of the interview is so very intimate, powerful, and hopeful.
I absolutely loved this movie. The actors executed their roles so well! I laughed so hard at some of the cultural misunderstandings. And cried with some of them too. This is such a unique Christmas and cultural mashup. It was good to see something on Netflix that was not just American cultural mishaps, but Norwegian and Indian. Every moment of this movie was mesmerizing, full of funny and endearing moments. I am even happier to find out that this movie is based on a true story. I hope the reality was just as funny and touching as the movie version. I laughed and cried so much throughout the show.
