  • For comic relief and a confusing story, watch this movie.

Saif Ali Khan graces the screen as Rehan, a thief who seems to have raided the wardrobes of iconic on-screen charmers like Dev Anand in 'Jewel Thief' and Amitabh Bachchan in 'Mr. Natwarlal.' You can almost picture him practicing their signature smirks in the mirror between takes. The action? Oh, it's there, alright - slicker than a freshly polished gemstone. However, the story feels like it was assembled with leftover parts from a Bollywood garage sale.

Our debonair Rehan is living the high life on vacation when his brother drops in like an unwanted room service bill, begging him to rescue their father, played by what appears to be a very confused Khulbhushan Kharbanda. Bless his heart.

Then we have Jaideep Ahlawat's Rajan, who apparently decided the best way to rival Rehan's coolness was to hit the salon for a matching dye job. It's like watching two peacocks have a very serious, very sparkly staring contest. The plot itself? Imagine 'Race 3' after one too many energy drinks - it's all over the place, bouncing off the walls with the subtlety of a Bollywood dance number in a library. And the surprises? Honey, I've had more unexpected twists opening a fortune cookie.

Oh, and let's not forget Kunal Kapoor as Vikram Patel, the cop dusted off from some forgotten shelf in the Bollywood prop room. He's perpetually trailing Rehan by a country mile, like that one friend who always shows up just as the party's ending. Honestly, adding him to the movie felt about as essential as a screen door on a submarine. Two out of ten stars - and honestly, the second star is just for Saif's commitment to looking suave even when the script is trying to trip him.

  • Masterclass in absurdity.

Oh, where do I even begin with "ULAHJ"? This Netflix production, starring Janhvi Kapoor, is a masterclass in how to squander potential. The plot is a labyrinth of absurdity, with more holes than a sieve. It's as if the writers threw darts at a board to decide the storyline, resulting in a narrative that makes less sense than a cat in a dog show.

Janhvi Kapoor, bless her heart, tries to salvage this sinking ship, but even her earnest performance can't save a script that's more tangled than a bowl of spaghetti. The supporting cast seems to be sleepwalking through their roles, perhaps realizing halfway through that they're part of a cinematic disaster.

  • This show is just so so.

Dharavi Bank dives into the Mumbai slum's underbelly, following Thalaivan, a 30,000-crore gangster kingpin. Starring Suniel Shetty and Vivek Oberoi, the series presents a battleground of cops and criminals, but stumbles with overused tropes and sluggish pacing.

Shine in the Slum: Shetty and Oberoi steal the show. Their commanding presence and nuanced performances carry the story. Shetty's ruthless charisma and Oberoi's determined cop make for compelling adversaries, even amidst a predictable narrative.

Lost in the Chase: The cat-and-mouse game, despite good acting, loses its thrill after a while. Repetitive silences, drawn-out stares, and overlong episodes test the audience's patience. Tightening the edit and infusing more dynamic action sequences could have sustained the tension.

Dialogue Downfall: The writing lets the show down. The dialogues lack punch, failing to elevate the drama or flesh out the characters beyond their archetypes. This weakens the story's potential impact.

Verdict: Dharavi Bank shines with its actors but falters with its plot and pacing. If you're a die-hard fan of Shetty and Oberoi, or enjoy classic gangster flicks, you might find some entertainment here. But for those seeking fresh twists and well-crafted narratives, this labyrinth might not hold enough intrigue.

    Improvements:

Stronger opening: Start with a more impactful scene to grab attention.

Conciseness: Tighten the pacing and dialogues to avoid dragging.

Character depth: Go beyond clichés and delve deeper into motivations.

Plot surprises: Introduce unexpected twists or dilemmas to keep viewers engaged.

Balance action and drama: Find a harmonious blend of thrilling action and character development.
