But the worst on screen instrument playing in the history of cinema. So many ways to deal with non musician actors but director didn't choose any of them.
Acting is pedestrian, adequate. Lighting fair. Sound just passable.
Bowing and fingering are almost offensive in their misuse.
Every piece played has a concert hall resonance in spite of being on a sidewalk, living room or school room.
Child actor shows promise.
It's not that the script was a standout but at least the concept wasn't the usual trope filled collection one gets used to with Hallmark romcoms.
Kid has the best lines.
Costumes and hair above average.

The book probably offered the bones that made this filmable. The D. P. did good work in tight spaces with limited lighting options. Director might not have decided if this was a farce or something else. For me what was most needed and not provided was a dialogue coach. Unless the intent was to be over the top farcical. But that would not explain the opening scene where no one was playing a mystery character.
There was a lot of eye rolling by the cast and surely more by viewers if they paid attention to the accents and acting.
Really remarkable boat though. With a name that makes sense given its location.

Feels like it was shot on an iPhone using only ambient light. Colour changes, shadows come and go.
The photography was OK but the lighting was careless.
Lead actress may have followed direction but she overacted as if her viewers were on Nickelodeon.
I suspect the director not the female lead since other characters also overused their facial expressions, especially with their eyes.
The Dash character may have been a bright spot and I predict a bright future if he says in the industry.
I can't tell if the abstract art was supposed to be quality or justifiably dismissed. But it didn't appear to be popular or accessible.
