  • The Pony Cart outstanding

Everything, absolutely EVERYTHING about this episode was outstanding; the story line, the dialogue, and especially the acting.

I have recently discovered The Waltons! And this particular episode is a gift. How can it not resonate with everyone? Regardless of the times one is living in, we are reminded that we are here temporarily. We are reminded how precious friends and family are , especially our elderly.

The pony cart, the shay, was a perfect metaphor for the passage of time, for past skills and beauty, and for persons in our lives who had so much to offer and who are now gone. Cherish them. Learn from them.

  • I still have tears!

Christopher Lloyd brought me to tears for all of our lost military brothers and sisters. Bravo! Well Done! If filming had to end prematurely for this god awful virus, this was the best finale.
