OK, Quick and easy: Drama, Science Fiction, a bit of Fantasy, and a whole lot of Visual Effects. The story line is a murder investigation with a couple strange twists. The Police are investigating and so is a guy hired privately. This is all done in a teeming city of magnitude from a post apocalyptic world. You really need to run each episode more than once to take in everything that makes up this world. Especially the slums and the people who inhabit there. If you are a fan of futuristic offerings I believe you will enjoy this series. Death and gore abound. So does naked women and sex for everyones taste. This season one was quite exciting for me. I watched it via my laptop on NETFLIX. I did watch each episode twice just take in as much of the special effects I could. I liked this series and hope it will keep have return seasons. The portrayers are all very old and keep changing bodies to stay young if they can afford such things, I think there will those who become addicted to ALTERED CARBON.

This movie was released in 2010. I have no idea where it has been hiding or why I have never heard of it. (All Huge Libraries like Netflics and VOD-Thank You) Anyway, there is a lot of out loud laughter and snickering caused by this movie. If I didn't know better I would think it was a "hall mark" except for the off-color words that get thrown around. (This is not a complaint) You can get yourself a bit dizzy over the character's interactions with each other. Since we are now old and not of the Saturday evening movie "Cuddling Group" anymore we discussed a lot of what was going on and made ourselves laugh even more. I really liked Malin Akerman, her happy attitude and outward effervesces was a real centered throughout the movie. Michael Algier's dead pan looks and is straight answers what he was asked made for humor and some very sad instances. Josh Radnor was the center of this movie. He was kind'a of a civilian "Sad Sack". Zoe Kazan and Kate Mara were, well I'd chase both through the streets of NYC. These Actors were spot on with their emotions and reactions to everything. There are no spoilers in this review because you really need to watch HAPPYTHANKYOUMOREPLEASE. and get your own opinions. I hope everyone takes the time to enjoy this movie.
