This is an excellent thriller and I don't understand the bad reviews. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the first minute to the end. I had never seen before any other Lifetime movie soooo suspenseful and I didn't expect it to be so. It is creepy, mysterious and has you guessing all the time. So interesting! And all the actors and actresses are very convincing in their roles.
I would give it 10 stars, but some murder scenes are very bloody and disturbing so you should keep children away.
If you'd like to spend a suspenseful 90 minute time, go for it and preferably watch it late in the evening for the right atmosphere!
I wish there were more and more Lifetime movies like that!

If you loved this one, look up the two Betty Broderick 1992 TV movies: Till Murder do us Part and Her Final Fury. They share the same subject.
Acrimony is an absolutely delightful film that doesn't leave the viewer with questions. It's crystal clear with start, middle and ending. I also loved the chapters and the component of narration. What a round film! I wish they made films like this more often.
