  • Hunter Moore Hunts For More and More.

Hunter Moore, a self-proclaimed "professional life ruiner," created the website Is Anyone Up, where anyone could submit photos that he would then post online. With no limits or filters, the site quickly became filled with nude photos-often of people who had never consented to have their images shared.

The documentary follows the story of Charlotte Laws, who stood up to Moore after her daughter, Kayla Laws, had topless photos posted on the site without permission. The shocking part was that no one else even knew about her pictures-they were private. She took the pictures in her own room by herself, and sent it to her own email, to save memory on her phone. It was later revealed that Moore worked with a hacker who broke into accounts and stole images for him to post. Kayla explained she had only taken the photo for herself and had no intention of sharing it. Why, though? I don't understand why you photograph yourself naked, just to keep it for yourself.

Later we are introduced to Bhole Girl. She is another victim of Hunter Moore. Her photos have also been posted on his site, without her permission. Her's were a bit more extreme which I can't talk about here. Anyway, she learns pretty quickly about Hunter and his website. Later, Hunter wants to videochat on Skype with her and he has some demands on what he wants her to do, in exchange he promises he will delete her pictures from his site. Bhole GIrl, being drunk, agrees to his crazy and embarrassing demands and does not know he is recording it. He then posts this video on his site as well.

Many people were on Hunter's side, as he gained more and more followers that saw him as a god among men, and would do anything for him. For a long time, many people blamed the victims for being stupid enough to take the pictures in the first place, and were not on the victims side. Regarding this videochat, I know she was desperate, but seriously, that was actually kinda stupid by her. In the end, it's not her fault, but still. This documentary really shows the kind of evil that can exist on the internet. What's even worse is when Hunter Moore attends a talkshow and shows no remorse whatsoever. I was so disgusted by this man, and his followers. Shame on all of you.

Big kudos to Charlotte Laws, who didn't give up even after Hunter deleted her daughter's photo. She continued to gather evidence, talk to the FBI and journalists, and support any victim she could get in touch with. She even confronted Hunter on a talkshow via video call. After this, she and her daughter were even more vulnerable, and had to endure threats from Hunter's crazy followers. Still, she didn't give up, and thanks to her, Hunter was finally caught. Amazing!
