I must say done by Samarth Mahajan. He has crafted borders and human emotions so carefully that the border becomes a feeling.
I have enjoyed watching each and every story in this documentary. Surjakanta, Noor Kavita, Rekha, Dhauli, and Deepa everyone has their unique story attached to the different borders of India. Jodhpur, Nargaon, Kolkata, Birgunj, Dinanagar, and Imphal.
The way he has narrated the entire documentary is involving and creates a deeper impact on your mind. At the end of the film, I as an audience was very much attached to every person and their life. It makes you think of our society, human nature, reality, and our responsibility towards our nation. Very thoughtful!
Before I conclude my thoughts on this documentary the song "AAMI TOMAKE" by Laurie Kallevig and Survivor girl Ukulele band is magical! This gives you joy and tears at the same time. Using it, in the end, was an excellent idea!
Congratulations on this documentary, Samarth! Looking forward to seeing your upcoming works. Best wishes!

Turnover is a solid feel-good family film. It's a well-thought cinema. Writer & Director Linda Palmer has done a wonderful job here. I liked the way story narration goes around with each character in a unique way in this film. Because of that, I was easily able to empathize with them.
Kat Kramer's presence in the film as "Fran" makes a special impact on the story. She has carried her character in a very subtle & ease. Many times I got angry with that character but that's where her effective acting skills worked. I loved her wardrobe & color theme.
I thought the movie had a unique premise and presented the theme in a fun way. There were many heartwarming moments in this movie and I smiled through pretty much all of them. I respect the way this film has shown diversity and breaking down disability stereotypes. Along with acting, cinematography, background score & editing is impressive. I think it is a beautiful movie that any age group can find enjoyment in, which is a rare treat.
With the same cast, I would love to see Turover part 2.
