Sign o the Times is my personal favorite album of all time. Prince's music is one man and a sound engineer alone in a studio and he's doing everything . His live performances always blow me away. The talent of this man, his charisma , sex appeal , raw emotion , stage presence, vocal range , you name it and he can do it. The band is also amazing. Shelia E knocks it out on the drums and I love their chemistry. For music lovers , please watch this and listen to the album . It's truly a masterpiece. At the very least , check out the song " Adore " from the album. Prince was a musical genius . A man who could weave sexuality, religion, romance and pain all into one song . The only man who could wear make up and heels and steal your girl.
Growing up in Detroit; YBI till I die was graffitied on shuttered homes. Tony Jack sightings at Paul's Chop House were a thing of substance. People knew Gil Hill for the Beverly Hills Cop films, we knew him because of Damion Lucas. And above all Coleman Young was the MFIC. After Rick Wershe, White Boy Rick was a nick name given to any white boy in the neighborhood who sold a nickel bag, little did we know the reality and intrigue behind the name. This film goes in depth on this urban legend of a story we heard as kids. It's engaging and informative. I had no clue how this story came together and my mind is blown. Amazing documentary.
