The definitive episode by far!!!
This was by far and will probably standout as the best episode of the series.
You know the players , we know situations and it's a real detailed account of what the book tells.
This episode goes in by the horns, you can feel the build up of the tension to the battle and oh boy does it deliver!
. Taking place during the war where tensions were extremely high and the loss of bomber numbers was insane and the odds now against them.
The crews are on breaking point , after losing many good men, you can just tell they've seen enough but are getting on with the job.
I feel with all the naysayers griping about band of brothers comparisons , this is 'masters' bastone episode and it sits up there as a classic episode in TV.
The producers have been building up to this and it sure delivers.
10/10.

It's finally here and it truly doesn't disappoint.
The attention to detail from book to screen from the production is a masterpiece.
The cast all portray their real life characters on point that you know you're gonna love them just like characters from BofB and the pacific.
It's dramatic , harrowing, insightful, and funny in parts which will make you care about these characters so much.
The ariel scenes are well executed , the build up to the bombing runs is relentless also portraying the many horrors and ordeals the book details.
If that's true I'll be holding my breath for what's coming!!!
This is true cinematic tv at its finest , what a way to start!

After recent disappointments in hyped up films I was pleasantly surprised with 'the Batman'
After the dark knight trilogy it does so well to be its own piece, when you'd think it may have no ideas of its own....but it really does.
It's well directed , with some great performances Featuring a great score , with some amazing action set pieces.
I'll admit it's very dark , at times I found it hard to focus in on the detail, the story is very dark but it's the first Batman to really ink out the dread all around. This may disappoint a few fun fanatics but it helps with the tone of the film At times it felt like it was dragging but it really ramped up near the end!
There's a feel from films such as seven , the crow , zodiac.
Pattinson really does his own thing as the Batman , it reminded me a bit of the 'Keaton' version but at times there's real power in his stare , his physicality , there's a lot that's not so obvious with the performance but I really felt it at times.
Zoe Kravitz is sleek and powerful too and I think it's one of her best roles to date.
Paul dano is just off the chain as the riddler but is enigmatic to watch.
Really like Colin Farrell penguin too so unrecognisable not just in make up but in his voice.
There's tiny hints at times of the previous films I'm not sure if intended but i found that a really nice reminder of what I loved about all the previous works here and there.
The finale really lifts things up where you may think the film lags and is the most superhero moment where everything comes full Circle in what the Batman stands for.
My only criticism is the running time which I'll admit did fly by but wonder how it'll effect other movie goers patience.
The lighting is so so dark at times it just kind of ruined the detail of the set designs. It's fine but might make you nod off
But I'm highly recommend this , and I'm Curious to see more from this production!!!
