This has to be the "jump the shark" episode!
Who thought a musical Star Trek would be a good idea? Who approved this garbage? The show was gradually getting better then it took a severe nosedive with this episode. I don't think it will be able to recover! The entire episode made little sense anyway then to set it to music was insult to bad tv shows and bad music altogether.
I can see now why there is an actors' strike. With shows like this, I would not have blamed everyone of the show's actors for walking right off the set in protest. They will all probably look back at their careers at some point in the future and pinpoint this episode as the one that killed their careers!
If you have not watch this episode, save yourself the time and trouble. Go watch almost anything else. Doing so would not be any worse!

This episode is basically a Pontiac or Oldsmobile car. It should have gone straight from production to the junkyard and spared the rest of humanity the agony and complete waste of time we spent watching it. This episode is a perfect example of what a complete waste of all resources looks like. Who wrote this travesty? Who approved this train wreck of an episode? The only thing worse would be watching the president's state of the union speech! No, I take that back - watching the president does contain some humorous moments that indicate the end of humanity is near. This episode of The Simpsons indicates humanity is now a complete loss.
Why did I watch it, you might ask? It was just so I could say I have seen every one of The Simpsons episodes. If this is the kind of garbage the rest of The Simpsons will be like, they might as well close up shop now and end the entire show. Like I said earlier, this is the absolute worst episode ever of The Simpsons! It is a complete waste of ALL resources!
