I wanted to write this review because of the book readers' complaints. How classic. You don't own this story. You read it in time. You liked it. Well you imagined it differently. Get on with it. This show is not 1!. This show deserves a high score. Although i love fantasy, frp etc, i haven't read the books because always my friend told me this is a bad clone of LOTR. Well it is similar in some way.

First things first. The visuals and CGI are really good. Not that Warcraft movie good but it is good for a TV show. Also more cgi's then Game of THrones.

Characters are good and it is a bit hasty introduced but good. Allanon player fits perfectly. Wil will be OK i think. Elf girl seems a good choice too.

This show giving me all the fun and also my wife really liked it. That is a great criteria. IF it is fantasy and my wife likes it...man it must be good.

Last word for the teeny critics. Guys it must capture teen audience also. It must have some teen love triangles etc. It is MTV.And there is nothing wrong with it. So i gave it 9. Not 10 it is not perfect.

To be honest i am not a fan of this show. I am not even watching it. So how come i am so into it ? Simple, my wife is watching this show every week. I am only listening the show while i am doing something else. Time to time i just peek in to see what is happening. Truly, acting, the song, costumes, and the places it has taken are all great. It is true history with adapted parts to todays TV show. You can even compare it to Game of Thrones. It is all about plots. Of course there is no dragons but this is the real thing of GoT. The love story is real. All the wars are real. All the killings are real. You will cry for the dead people knowing that, he/she was really killed like it in history. If you like palace plots and love stories you should give it a try.
