I don't know what is going on with movies these days. Everyone is trying to be "creative" by using editing techniques that goes all over the place in time and space. It's a pain in the ass. This movie is very long and drawn out, and worst of all, the extended ending does not explain anything more. I was hoping for some clarification, but none came. As for the acting, call it over acting, especially the guy who played the fat dumb guy. This movie also doesn't know whether it wants to be a drama or a comedy. If you want courtroom drama, stick with "12 angry men" or "Witness for the Prosecution." Those movies are easy to follow and entertaining. This one is not.

And really lacks a plot. When it was over, I said "is that it?" I watched it for Lemmon's performance since I have known about his Oscar since the early 70's. Never had a chance to watch it till now. Story was slow and boring, with lots of talk and chatter, and really no resolution. Much of the first half of the movie, I was trying to figure out where the story is going. By the time it was evident, the movie ends. It's a very disappointing movie, but Jack Lemmon's performance was certainly deserving of the Oscar, as he was in about very scene. You'll even get to see a quick nude shot of Jack's ass.

This movie reminds me of my sister and myself play acting when we were kids. We would make up a scene and then we'd act it out. This movie has no plot. And the premise is so outrageously incredible. I got motion sickness in the first few minutes of the movie when for some inexplicable reason, the camera went around and around in the air. I suppose the only interesting shot in the entire movie is a handjob that showed a porn size D with cum and all. There are other sex scenes as well but they are shown in a hallucinogenic haze and dizzy lighting, so not much can be seen at all. It could have been so much better before it took a turn to the bizzarre.
