What happened? Cheeseburger is one of the best specials of the past 20 years and this is weak hack stuff. Lame race jokes and physical appearance humour. I genuinely had to check the year on Disney+ to make sure it was actually new as it feels like such a novice set that I was sure it was one of his old ones from years ago. This is the sort of lame stand up you used to see in the 90s. With Cheesburger I was urging comedy fans to seek it out on Netflix and here I'm doing the complete opposite so people don't waste an hour of their life. I guess who you hang out with influences your humour and as Mark Maron said on Andrew's Podcast Bad Friends recently this is humour at its worst and if you watch closely you can see the moment Andrew realises he has been doing this his entire current tour and his smile disappears when the mirror is held up.
