As a 33 year old white gay man, I heard there was a "The First Wives Club" tv show remake and no matter what I had to see what this was all about. I signed up for the BET+ streaming service, just to watch the show. Its worth it! Great characters, and great concept! They took the original idea and made it their own! There are a few "callbacks" to the original movie and they are so welcome, but for the most part the show is fresh, funny, and edgy! Definitely worth the watch!

I was excited and nervous when I first read about them putting this show together. Part of me was curious, and the other part kind of wanted a straight reboot to see what the adult versions of their characters are up to today. I was pleasantly surprised, and really enjoy seeing everyone, RIP Luke Perry :( , back together! Its a nice blend of nostalgia for the original while also being a "new show". Try not to write this one off too quickly, I'm a huge fan of 90210, and I can say I love what they are doing with BH90210.
