Could they not just have cast an actual albino person? This feels so disrespectful!
Why is it that every time you see some one in a show that is different, it is to make them being different part of a joke. Why can't they just have some one different in a show? Why do 99% of the actors in sitcoms represent 1% of the population?
I already thought this show was pretty boring and lame, but this has proven it. COME ON! STEP UP YOUR GAME!
Did really NO one thought at ALL it was offensive to put a wig, lenses and make up on a person to make them look a different color? What is this the 1920? Seriously just sad!

The fun parts were clearly in the trailer and the rest the movie is boring and slow. No matter how the edit wants to make you feel it is fast and exiting. If you came for the dog just skip the first 25 minutes!
If you want people to root for a team, maybe don't make al the lead characters this unlikable. Cos I honestly couldn't care less if they even make it to the finnish. Some stupid entitled snobs being paid by other stupid entitled snob to just run around for money. While being in a country filled with people who have no job and money to even get food.
I watched a short doc on this story and loved it and the people, how they made it into this cringy movie I just don't understand at all! The country and nature is clearly very beautiful, but I would recommend to dog lovers who are not into sport to just look up the short doc and skip this 2 hours of people running around for the sake of..... umm something that is totally lost on my by now.
When some one says 'just leave the dog here it will be dead tomorrow'.... when THE DOG was the reason I came to watch (and this is said by a main character NOT the evil antagonist), then I couldn't care less if they fall and break a leg or not. For the record the dog is running around to find food and survive, those morons are running around for.... what... views? Seriously pathetic! Look around you! AND BE NICE TO OTHERS instead of just demanding respect from others, cos you are good at some dumbass sport.

The book was so original, but this is yet another boring Dutch type of romcom. Why!? Why!? Why!? It had such potential! If you want a cliché movie based on a book, get one of the hundreds of cliché books, instead of just abusing a bestseller simple and only for it' s name.
The book was great because of the voice of the writer, but who do they cast for the lead role.... yet another annoying perky dorky girly woman (weer een trutjehola ... zeg maar). WHY NOT PAULIEN!!!??? Or some one LIKE her at least!!!
If this is how you translate a book into a movie, you might as well turn mein kamp into a romcom, or the flipping yellow pages. THIS IS PATHETIC!! As always: a gay couple, an old popular actor, one of the same 10 younger male actors you see in every Dutch movie, and bad fake awkward acting.
I can only hope the writer was payed well, cos that would be the only good thing coming out of this movie if you ask me.
You can easily watch 10 seconds, skip 10 minutes and repeat. You won't miss anything interesting at all.
Terwijl in het boek een interessante blik op taal wordt getoond. Toont deze film enkel een blik op een saaie zeurderige ondankbare truthola. Dat is zeg maar, NIET echt mijn ding!
