What a fun movie! Our whole family loved it and both my 7 and 9 year old think it's THE BEST MOVIE EVER. It's great to see a movie that's made to be watch and enjoyed in a cinema and not just on your couch at home. We watched it on a Saturday afternoon in a packed theatre- the crowed cheered, roared with laughter and clapped throughout. Everyone left thoroughly entertained. There should be more movies like this!
I can highly recommend this movie to anyone with kids who like Minecraft and are looking for a fun family outing. Our family will definitely watch it again soon. Fab family movie!!!!!

Parts of this movie are good - for sections, the animation is beautiful, then in the next scene, it looks like a cheap YouTube video - the script is good, and then suddenly the animals are singing about "shareholders" - it seems like every time the writers and the animators got stuck they turned to chat GPT and just went with the automated answers.
I was expecting much more from Disney - Where have all the creative people gone? Is this what we should expect from Disney from now on?
Or can we hope and wish upon a star that they can start making real movies again, the types of film the whole family can enjoy again?

The movie is fine. Below average story line. Good music and visuals. But for some reason the film makers decided it was ok to include a number of references to drugs and completely inappropriate sexual jokes. Sure young kids won't understand but why should this be included in a children's film? It doesn't make the film wittier, smarter or more appealing to an adult audience. It's just inappropriate. My kids enjoyed the music and visuals but big parts of the plot line were just too weird for my 5 year old to follow and to be honest it didn't make that much sense to me either. It could have been a good movie if the weird inappropriate bits were cut and they thought about the plot a bit more. The musical performances make it watchable.
