I am a fan of Dan Stevens but I struggled to connect with his character and his awful American accent. His characters background was not fully explained so it was hard to understand his issues.
Al Pachino was great as a dishevelled exorcist but again, his background was not clear.
Apparently this was based on the most documented exorcism by the Catholic Church...but I've never heard about it.
There was not "jump out of your seat" moments and the possessed girl seemed more troubled than possessed.
I think we have seen so many of these types of movies which are much better and scarier.
I would give this one a miss.

I thought that Mickey 17 was a sci-fi/comedy movie......but I still cannot work out what it is!
The story, if there is one, loses focus and turns into something uninspired and confusing.
Robert Pattinson plays Mickey 17 but I could never work out what he was trying to deliver in this role. He had this weird accent, and his character was like Forest Gump but not as engaging.
The movie just seems to drag on and on with no really engaging storyline. It does not deliver any real comedy or soli sci-fi.
The characters played by Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collete just seemed too exaggerated and ridiculous....maybe that was the point but it was missed on me.
Give this one a miss.....not worth your time.

The stellar cast is what first attracted me to this movie, especially Jennifer Coolidge and Pete Davidson.
This was like watching paint dry. It was so slow and boring.....no one laughed not even a giggle.
The story line and how it was told was all over the place and it just never grabbed me at all.
I tried to watch this movie twice but found myself scrolling on my phone both times.....it was just that boring.
I expected a very funny family get together story but it was a mess. It felt like the actors were make up there lines as the went through the motions.
Jennifer Coolidge just didn't seem to be fire at all....so disappointing.
