It's a great movie. Don Knotts couldn't have played it any better. Ya gotta feel sorry for him. All the townspeople are great too. It's funny and kinda scary at the same time. It's one of my favorite movies. Even though I have it on DVD, I still watch it every time it comes on TV. The old ladies of the town also make it great.

It adds a lot of details that other documentaries on the case have not talked about, but leaving out the relentless work Mike's mother did get the case solved was a travesty. That woman is responsible for getting the case solved, not Kathy. Kathy acts like she did all this work - she did nothing but act like a woman scorned.
