I can't understand why this episode is getting such high reviews. It's one of the most bland and unbelievable episodes I've ever seen. By now, you would think people have survived for many years, navigating conflicts and attacks from crazy factions. Yet, Carol meets a guy who seems overly friendly and easily manipulated, allowing her to stay alone in his fortress. This contradicts what we've learned from The Walking Dead, where the greatest threat is other people.
This episode felt dull, reminiscent of Fear the Walking Dead, yet somehow it's receiving positive reviews. I'm beginning to think it's either die-hard Daryl Dixon fans willing to accept anything for more screen time with him or possibly an influx of fake reviews from the studio. I do love The Walking Dead, and I absolutely adored its first season, but this episode falls short. Despite this disappointment, I'm still willing to give the show a chance.

There are very few movies I can't forget, but some I absolutely love, like *The Northman* and the *Vikings* TV show. However, this particular movie has really stayed with me. It's incredibly dark and disturbingly realistic-almost no Hollywood gimmicks or fluff. If you're after something truly gritty and raw, this one is definitely worth a watch.
If you're looking for a darker Viking movie that feels more grounded and authentic, this is the one. It sticks to realism, offering a brutal and often uncomfortable look at that era, far from the polished versions we're used to. It's the kind of film that doesn't hold back on the harsh realities of Viking life, stripping away any romanticized notions and giving you something raw. This isn't just another Viking movie-it's an intense experience that'll linger with you long after it's over.
The way the movie captures the atmosphere, the bleakness of the setting, and the rough nature of the characters makes it feel almost like you're watching history unfold. It's not just about the battles or glory but the everyday harshness and the brutal choices these people faced. If you're searching for a Viking movie that ditches the fantasy and gives you something much more real, this is definitely one to check out.
