I've just finished watching this Netflix limited series. It really had the potential of being an excellent series. It had it all. Action, drama, and a lot of suspense.... But of corse, like a lot of the new shows, movies, etc of the current time, it can't help but go so overboard with the over exaggerations of the current times. Believe it or not, I don't care, not all white people feel the same way. Not all white people that disagree with you, are white supremacists. Not all white people who have had different experiences than you are nazi sympathizers.
The acting and actors are good in this series. And parts of it were good. But once again, in the current climate of Hollywood, it's just so unwatchable. I try to have an open mind going into anything I watch, but when you start the, oh the evil white people trope, I can't do it. Be better Hollywood. Please.

I had always heard about the California McDonalds massacre. But this is the first documentary I've watched.... And hopefully, one day, I'll get a chance to watch a good one. Especially one with a less biased director. You could tell from the very beginning he has it in for the police. I do think the police could have done some stuff differently, but this happened in 1984. Technology and communication within the police department were COMPLETELY different. If the police had stormed the McDonald's and opened fire and someone died, they would be blamed for that.
While it's his opinion and his movie, a documentary shouldn't be biased. This director clearly had an agenda. It was like watching a "documentary" from that slob Micheal Moore. I'm shocked it didn't blame the guns.

There are no spoilers. You will find out about Kim soon enough.
I loved this show when it first aired. After rewatching it, I didn't realize how much of an annoying brat Kim is. She never listens to ANYONE . And always makes the worst possible decision. Can't she ever once just listen to her father. God forbid she coulda just got out of LA. But no, that would be too easy.
Kim is the real terrorist in this show. I've lost count at how many people are dead because of her and it's only the beginning of Season 2!!
It's a great show. I'm finally watching it again for the second time. I forgot how good it was... Just Kim... ugh.
